stupid piece of paper...

Hubby and I went away for the weekend and relaxed - bliss!

Anyway, the new job - update.

Actually, I like it. I like the people, I like the rhythm, it's good. I don't think it's what I want to do long term, but, hey, it's easy and it pays well. I'm working for an international pharmaceutical company, by the way. The work environment is comfortable and I'm in a really supportive team of colleagues who are really nice.

However, I did something really dumb - I lost a piece of paper.

I spent all afternoon in a panic trying to find it and it's nowhere - it's not filed where it's supposed to be, and it's nowhere on my desk. There are no copies of this important piece of paper with important, confidential writing on it, and no way to get a new one. So tommorow, I'm going to have to search through, I dunno, every file, everyone's desk, everywhere to find this stupid piece of paper!

I know it sounds like nothing without the details of what it's all about - but it's important. It's an important piece of paper. And it's missing. And the case file it's missing from belongs to me.

Grrr!! And I was doing so well!

Hey there tootsie - I do this all of the time and then I discover it's in a place where I already looked but somehow missed it. I hope you find it. ;-) jk

welcome to the delights and joys of the pharma industry. Major angst over missing important bits of confidential paper are a daily delight. At least they are in my bit of the pharma industry!

At least the colleagues are good, and very glad to hear you're enjoying it so far

Say a little prayer to St. Anthony, patron saint of lost things.

Tony, Tony look around!
Something lost must now be found!
