Thanks for all the supportive comments, dear readers.

I made an appointment for Monday for Hubby to see the oral surgeon.
Hopefully things are fine. It's been almost a year since Hubby was
first diagnosed with cancer and I don't want any new news in that
particular area!

It's funny the way stress can change a person. I've always been such a
laid back type, but I just can't shake this year. I can't shake the
built up stress of a million things happening.

Anyway, in other news, yet another interest rate rise.
Hmmm. Tis not good news for us Sydneysiders and our overpriced
properties and huge mortgages, that's for sure. Especially those of us
who have newer home mortgages. Those people who bought their homes
before the property boom are fine - they'd have much smaller
mortgages. But for those of us who have bought houses recently - that
one percent increase since the last Federal election is a massive
hike! I'm not too worried about investment property loans as rents are
going up nicely, but it's very hard for large home loans.

My Mum is having knee surgery today. It's just day surgery so she
needs someone to be at home with her tommorow. I've taken the day off
work to take care of her.

I just read back on what I've written in this post and I'm marvelling
about how much my life has changed! This stuff is all proper grown-up
stuff. Serious, tough and not very fun!

My grandma had knee replacement surgery not too long ago - like the same day my hubby had his surgery. She is doing great! The rehab is terribly painful, but she's handling it like it's nothing. So, best wishes to your mom for her surgery. And I am still praying your hubby's situation will come out just fine.

Jezzy, Today is Thursday and I just want you to know that I was thinking of you and your hubby today since I know he had his oncologist appointment. I hope all is well and he was given the all clear (I know the tests take a week or so to get back but mainly I hope that the doctor reassured you!)

Hope all is well and that everything is good!

JPD - Luckily Mum's isn't a replacement. Hopefully she's better soon. I hate operations and I'm so over hospitals!

lulu - that's such a sweet thing to write. Thank you. The appt with the oncologist was fine, although he has no idea what's up with Hubby's jaw. I showed him the X ray.

steph - thanks, will do. We go to the oral surgeon on monday.

I'll be thinking of you Monday and sending good vibes your way.

Stress does change you. It changes the way your brain works. It ages you.

I know.

Hang in there, tough girl.
