And besides, Manly is my local team. I've grown up in Warringah, I live there - it's my team! It's been 10 years since they've been in a grand final - I luvs them!
It's that time of year here in the States as well. Our American baseball season ends today and the "post season" best of the best will get us into the end of October for the "World Series" (dumb title since noone but U.S. teams play in it!!) and we are well into our College American Football season (Go Boston College #6 in the Country!), and our Professional Football is just begun, and hockey and basketball aren't far behind. (It's a miracle we "Yanks" have time to study or work, what with sports going on, and our U.S. Women just took 3rd place in the World Cup! I'm feeling stressed just writing this, I never realized we could balance this many sports, a fu;lltime job, a wife and children, and still have time to watch Law & Order, and "blog"! Phew,....got a go take a nap!! Mr. Guinness
