Just received an invitation to my 10 year high school reunion - in November.
Go the class of 96!
I must say, it's a scary prospect. I went to a private girls' school
and our year was such a bunch of superachievers.
Will be a very interesting event. Must dig out my yearbook to remember
who everyone was...

You'll have those letters after your name, your wonderful hubby by your side, and your nice new house to go home to when it's over... I think you should go and have a great time. You've achieved plenty. =o)
Bleh, reunions. A bunch of people you were forced to commune with out of necessity, not friendship... ten years older and remembering you only as a pubescent caricature of your true self, ten years on. My theory is: anyone you didn't choose to keep in contact with after graduation probably lives in your past for one reason or another, and most likely, only attends this reunion out of crippling nostalgia (bad) or bragging rights (worse)...
...present company excluded, of course.
I gladly await the day (sooooon, since we graduated the same year) my invite arrives in the mail, so I can WIPE MY ARSE WITH IT.
No, seriously.
High school fµckin' sucked.
(I'm not damaged by it. I'm not!)
I wasn't popular in HS, so I was never invited to any reunions. Too bad - another missed opportunity to blow them all away. I hope you don't miss your chance.
