How long does it take three examiners to read a 350 page thesis?!
It's seriously not that hard! They've had it since September!
Graduation is in March and I really want to make it in time!
Waaaaaaaaaah!!!
Keep thinking that I'll get the result "Not for award" and I'd have wasted my life since 2002 when I could've been earning a proper full-time pharmacist's wage all that time.
I want my results!!

Ooooo - I would be dying with anticipation. I can't believe they have made you wait so long. I hope you find out in time and are Dr. Jezzy upon graduation.
You'll make it. It'll happen. Start slipping them money. That's probably what they're waiting for.
Maybe it's so fucking excellent they don't want to part with it. ;)
Hehe, living with a full time student and having worked alongside several PhD'ers ( physics and chem ), 3 of which became close freinds, I know all to well the frustration you describe. I think you just have to try and let it go, not put your life on the skids while you wait for results.
Yeah, yeah, I know, easier said than done... ;)
Hi Jezzy,
I've been out of it for so long, I feel like I've missed a chunk of blogging life!
I hope you're well and I feel confident that your PhD will kick ass!
You'll graduate in March. The examiners feel inferior because they can't find a single thing wrong with your thesis!
For some reason, the title of this post reminded me of the old Mister Matey ads...
I want my clothes off!
I want my bath!
And the water!
I want my Mister Matey!
Strangely, it's all a blur after that.
Curse you, 1980s!
