Resolutions Pt Two

10. I will get out of bed when my alarm goes off and not keep pressing
the snooze button and cuddling Hubby until I am very late for work.

11. Will not skip breakfast as when I do, I tend to be very hungry in
the late afternoon. Will make filling, nutritious breakfasts. Eg.
low-fat milky porridge with rolled oats and dried fruit (none of that
claggy instant crap) or chinese-style porridge (congee) with long
grain rice in chicken stock.

12. Will do make-up at home and not on the bus as it is not a good
sight to see a woman putting on make-up on public transport and it
better to leave the house groomed.

(There you go, Laurita - twelve steps!)

Actually, it's been going alright so far. Four days in. I kinda
slipped up last night by drinking two glasses of Verdelho when I
should've just had one, but I also did good by not eating the hot
chips that came with my grilled chicken and salad burger. (Do you know
how hard it is to resist hot chips?!)

Okay, I lie. I ate one. I am human, after all...

It's the Jezzylife 12 step program!

I can't keep resolutions so I resolve not to make any.

Oohhh a Verdelho! Add that to the "Aussie wines I want to try." I know that the Portugese started out with that grape, but from everything I've read, the Aussies do it better. I know it can be made slightly sweet or slightly spicy--which did you have? I still want to try your red sparkling wines too...we have pink and we have white, but we don't do red here, and I've read some great things about the Aussie red sparkling wines. I need to do a wine tour of Australia one day...haha!

They have red sparkling wine in Australia? Holy moly, Batgirl - how can we get our hands on this stuff?

And I bet you burned the calories in that one little chip reaching for it and chewing it, Jezzy. (My friends joke that I can justify anything and have made it into an artform. So, any time you feel even slightly guilty about breaking a resolution in any small way, just let me know.)
