Election

It's state election time this Saturday the 24th of March.
I am well aware that hardly any of my readers live in this grand state
of New South Wales, but bear with me.

Actually, don't. I really don't have anything to say except that
doesn't Labor's cringeworthy "Heading in the right direction" tag
sound a little too much like "We're Woolworths the Fresh Food people"?

Lol - can't really comment on my personal reaction to the signs, but I agree with you based on how it sounds from your description.

I'm so sick of politics. Of course, here, we're more worried about the father of Anna Nicole's baby than the 3000+ soldiers who've died in Iraq. =o(

It's just perfect... it harks back to Renee Geyer and the 70's, when Labour actually had something resembling policy and direction. Ok, now Howard's team has to pick something from the late 70's. I'm thinking David Cassidy's, "Get down get with it". Now tell me that hasn't got cred with the kids! Can't you just see Peter Costelloe in those worryingly tight white slacks doing Karaoke to thet one???!!!
